Launching our learning collective - People. Power. Action.

19 Oct 2015

Are you unhappy with how our society operates at present, would you like to see societal change?

There are certainly many changes I would like to see happen in Ireland and I believe every citizen needs to be a part of making these changes happen!

This is why this year Friends of the Earth are inviting citizens from across Ireland who are interested in becoming active in their community (whether that is in your town, college, work place or other) in relation to environmental and social justice issues, to come together weekly to meet like minded people, learn and share new skills and take action as part of the movement for social change and environmental sustainability.

We believe in climate justice but to address this we believe that all other injustices also need to be addressed in order to find an adequate solution and we need you to join with us to be part of the solution.

To be part of the solution...

Join our collective!

This an opportunity to share your unique skills and passions within a group setting and in turn develop new insights by hearing from the experiences of others while participating as an equal member of the collective to help us support each other in acting out our vision for a new world.

We will meet together on Monday evenings in November in Dublin starting 2nd November leading up to the UN Climate Talks in December which I hope you will be able to join us in coming to ( 9th-14th Dec) to demonstrate your voice for change along with thousands of other active citizens from across the world.

If you already know this is something you would like to be a part of, please email heather@foe.ie with your name, mobile number and a brief description of why you would like to be part of the collective, what you think you could contribute to it and what you would like to gain from it.
