Tell us what you love ... and Enda too

23 Sep 2014

Enda Kenny is at the UN in New York today to speak at Ban Ki-Moon's summit on climate action. Hundreds of you joined our call to urge him to say the Climate Bill will be enacted before the end of the year and to declare Ireland will be fossil-fuel free by 2040. A thousand people came to the People's Climate Picnic in Stephen's Green in Dublin on Sunday. Thank you.

Now we need to keep the spotlight on Enda to make sure he keeps his word when he comes home.

As part of Stop Climate Chaos we've launched a campaign called #fortheloveof. Something that each of us loves is threatenned by by climate change. We want you to share it, with Enda.

You can see what other people have been saying on the Stop Climate Chaos twitter feed.

Three ways to tell Enda what you love:

1. Email him

Just add in what you love at the end of the subject line before sending. Or just send the email as is, the call to action is clear.

2. Tweet him

Tweet as follows: #fortheloveof ... X... let's stop climate chaos @EndaKennyTD. Better still include your picture. Just jot down #fortheloveof [the thing you love] on a piece of paper and tweet it as before.

3. Facebook him

Just jot down #fortheloveof [the thing you love] on a piece of paper, take a photo of yourself and post it on facebook tagging Enda. Something like this: #fortheloveof ... X... let's stop climate chaos @endakennyofficial.

Do one or all of these three to keep the heat on Enda to act. Going to New York must not be a tick-box exercise it must be a kick-start to serious action back home.

And ask your friends what they love

Spread the love. Mention a friend at the end of your tweet, tag a few in your Facebook post. Ask them what they love and ask them to tell Enda too.
