Friends of the Earth exhibit climate messages at Cultivate centre

Friends of the Earth has an exhibition of painted messages urging action on climate change showing as part of the Convergence Festival in the Cultivate Centre at 15-19 Essex Street West in Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

The messages were painted by children and young people at the Festival of World Cultures in Dun Laoghaire and at the Electric Pinic music festival in Sradbally Co. Loais.

The painted wooden tiles are part of a campaign run by Friends of the Earth Europe this summmer. Thousands of tiles from across the continent will be shipped to Montreal to create an inspiring installation for the international climate negotiations which open there at the end of November.

The exhibition in Cultivate runs from October 12th until October 16th.
