Dublin FoE invites you to the launch of their report on energy use in public buildings
25 May 2012
"CUTS THAT DON'T HURT" will be launched by well-known broadcaster Duncan Stewart on Tuesday, May 29th, at the Greenhouse, St. Andrew Street, Dublin at 1 p.m., followed by a question and answer session. Refreshments will be provided and you are kindly invited to attend.
Dublin Friends of the Earth have found that the Government could save up to €100 million in a couple of years if it stopped the waste of energy in public buildings. The report isentitled "CUTS THAT DON'T HURT". The report shows that high-spending Government Ministers are not taking the lead in ending costly energy waste in thousands of buildings - schools, hospitals, health centres and many others, where heating is set too high and lights and computers left on when no-one is present.
