Friends of the Earth Visit to Kerry

20 Sep 2010

Friends of the Earth will be in Kerry this Wednesday. Our Policy Officer Molly Walsh will be in Tralee at the invitation of Transition Town Tralee to talk about climate change and what we can do about it.

The talk will take place in the Carlton Hotel (formerly Fels Point Hotel) starting at 8pm this Wednesday the 22nd of September. The evening will consist of a short presentation and several interactive activities, and promises to generate some interesting conversation.

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our generation and yet it has dropped out of the media recently. The Government say it is still on their agenda with promises to publish the climate change law this year. What this will mean for climate policy and how we can make them keep their promise are one of the main areas of the work of Friends of the Earth and will be up for discussion in Tralee.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

We hope to see you there.
