Join us at our, National Activism Gathering in Waterford. A weekend including, workshops, panel discussions, socializing and much more.

The event takes place from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime the 24th to 26th September 2010.

We're gearing up for a strong campaign this Autumn to achieve historic climate legislation in Ireland.

Thanks to you, we are on the brink of an historic achievement, one that very few campaigns reach.

The Government is about to publish a Climate Change Bill. Neither Fianna Fáil nor the Greens promised that in their 2007 election manifesto. And it wasn't in their first Programme for Government. But thanks to you, it is.

Thanks to your support and participation our campaigning has brought a climate law to the doors of the Dáil .

Now we'd like to invite you to make sure it's a strong law that we can all be proud of. That's by no means a foregone conclusion.
As the prospect of a climate law becomes a reality vested interests are mustering to delay and dilute it.
Only you can stop them.

Join us to find out how you can be part of this important and historic campaign.

Workshops and panel discussions include "How people win campaigns", "How to talk to a climate skeptic", "How many postcards does it take to change the law", "Why offsetting is off limits", "Ideas for local action" and "How to lobby your TD".

The coming months will see Friends of the Earth and our allies mobilize locally across the country to put the heat on TDs. The fate of the climate bill is in the balance.

What you do really can tip the scales towards global justice and sustainability.
Together we can win.
