The draft figures cover the period 1990 - 2004 and remain provisional until March 2006 when final figures are to be submitted to the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The figures take account of new methodological guidance, the outcome of recent national research and revised information on energy use.
