July 27, 2007 View all publications PDF 928.37k | Download Now The Fianna Fail / Green Party Programme for Government promises an annual carbon budget to be delivered to the Dáil by the Minister for Finance. This research was done by Ecofys consultants for Friends of the Earth in London on how best to develop a carbon budget for the UK. Although the Westminster / Whitehall system is different from ours there is much common ground and much in this report that can be equally applied in Ireland. We have now shared this report with the Department of the Environment in the Custom House as they prepare the ground for Ireland's first carbon budget later this year.
