Irish Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change
To coincide with the IFCCC conference in Durvan, members of the Irish Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change have joined business leaders from around the world to sign up to the 2 degree challenge communiqué
The 2 degree challenge communiqué is the fifth in a series of corporate climate statements from the progressive international bussiness community in advance of the annual UN climate conferences.
The communique calls on governments to break the deadlock in international climate change negotiations and take the necessary action at a national level to ensure a successful transition to green growth and a climate resilent economy.

The Irish Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change has issued its third communiqué on green public procurement to support steps towards a national Green Public Procurement (GPP) policy and highlight key issues they believe should be addressed in a national GPP strategy.

The Irish Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change has now issued it's second communiqué.
It was recently sent as a letter to the Taoiseach and the members of the Cabinet Committee on Climate Change and Energy Security. The deals with the promised climate change legislation.
The statment is signed bus 8 companies: Arup, Board Gais, Bord Na Mona, Diageo, Intel, KPMG, NTR and Vodafone.
The group is serviced by a secretariat comprising Business in the Community, Friends of the Earth and Vodafone.
The group's first statement, launched at a meeting with the Taosieach in Farmleigh in September 2009, is also available to download.
