Youth Activists Address MEPs on Climate

In the lead up to the MEP elections, Youth Activists came together to voice their demands on climate and how they want to see Irish European representatives act on climate.

Fossil Free Gathering 2019

In February we hosted colleagues & activists from Friends of the Earth Europe and Young Friends of the Earth (YFoE) Europe for ten days of meetings, trainings and networking in Cloughjordan Ecovillage.

We welcomed 30 colleagues from around Europe for the annual Friends of the Earth Fossil Free gathering where shared stories of struggles and success and made plans for the year ahead as we continue to campaign for a fossil free Europe.

Minister and I differ over Ireland's position on emissions cuts

I expect to disagree with the Government from time to time on the positions they take on climate change policy. That's what campaigners and governments do after all.

I don't expect to disagree about what the Government's position actually is, but that's what's happened in advance of the EU ministers meeting this week.
